Eutalia supports Gestore dei Servizi Energetici – GSE S.p.A, as Lead Member State body in the EU Twinning Project Strengthening the Institutional and Technical Capacity of the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) and the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) of the Slovak Republic as Junior Member State body.
As Mandated Body, Eutalia is responsible for administrative and logistics support as well as contractual, administrative and financial management during the contract implementation of the experts.
The Beneficiary administration is the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA).
The objective of the project is supporting the modernisation and industrialisation of the Malawian economy and enhancing the governance of the Malawi energy sector.
The Twinning Project officially started in May 2023, its duration is 27 months and the overall budget is EUR 2.500.000.
